The MHSC charged a workgroup to take up the planning work in 2009 and take it the next step. System of Care work is focused on Montcalm County families with children ages 0-17 who have a diagnosis of Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) or Developmental Disability (DD). 

 

Currently, specific work is being done on the issues of educational neglect and truancy and linking resources to the 211 database.

 

A report is due to the MHSC in February.
